President William Ruto will on Wednesday close the National Executive retreat in Naivasha, Nakuru county.

The President who arrived at Lake Naivasha Resort was received by his deputy, Rigathi Gachagua and Cabinet Secretary for Interior Kithure Kindiki.

Ruto on Monday met cabinet secretaries and legislators.

In his opening speech, the President told the legislators to be patient because Kenya must change

Ruto urged Kenya Kwanza leaders to cease from 2027 politics and instead focus on service delivery.

He told the leaders to be different and focus on implementing the Kenya Kwanza manifesto.

“We have a manifesto that I believe, if implemented, and when implemented, it can transform Kenya,” Ruto said on Monday.

On Tuesday, the President had a session with the governors.

Explaining why he invited governors to the retreat, the President stated that counties are partners with the national government.

“The reason why we asked the Council of Governors to come and have a session with us is because I wanted ministers here and their principal secretaries to understand that the counties are our partners, not competitors,” Ruto said.
