Kenyan Athlete Charles Kipsang Dies In Cameroon

Charles Kipsang, a Kenyan athlete has died completing a mountain race in Cameroon on Saturday, February 24, 2024.

Cameroonian media reports that Kipsang ran until the final kilometer, and appeared exhausted at the finish line.

The runner, who had no prior signs of poor health, collapsed and efforts to resuscitate him at the stadium were unsuccessful.

This was Kipsang’s fourth participation in the Cameroon Mountain Race of Hope, where he participated in the Men’s Senior Category.
