The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has shortlisted one hundred candidates for the position of Judge of the High Court of Kenya.

In a statement, Chief Justice Martha Koome said the JSC invited applications for twenty vacancies on October 13, 2023.

“At the close of the advertisement on November 3, 2023 a total of three hundred and five applications were received,” Koome said.

The Chief Justice added that having reviewed the applications for conformity with the requirements set out, one hundred candidates were then shortlisted.

Following this, the JSC will be conducting interviews for the posts from April 3, 2024 to April 30, 2024.

The interviews will be held at the CBK Pension Towers along Harambee Avenue from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm. Those conducted on the 29th and 30th of April will conclude at 2.00 pm.

“Members of the public are invited to avail in writing any information of interest in respect to any of the shortlisted candidates on or before 21st March, 2024 at 5.00 pm,” reads part of the statement.
