TikToker Brian Chira’s family is appealing for help to accord their kin a decent send-off.
Addressing bloggers at the City Mortuary on Saturday, March 16, 2024, his family asked Kenyans to stand with them during this difficult time.
The family also asked Kenyans to help them accord Chira a decent send-off.
“Tushirikiane pamoja, if you guys can focus if you love Chira, Brian Chira is gone, ata kama alikua ni rival wako Chira was a good guy. Do anything you can to help the family and make this go through, najua wengi wanaumwa kama mimi but all is well, we have to trust God,
“Don’t get worried about what is happening, I’d like to tell you life is what is happening. We are from another burial, and on our way, we got this message. Within this time, kindly be with us as we move on, assist this guy as one of our own,” the family said.
Chira dies
Chira was announced dead earlier today after a hit-and-run accident in Karuri area, Kiambu County.
His family confirmed his demise saying he sustained serious head injuries and died on the spot.
Moments before the incident, Chira stopped by a bar in Gacharae area where he was later thrown out for causing commotion.
He then headed home on a motorcycle, however, as he alighted at his destination, a speeding lorry knocked him over and fled the scene.
Police arrived at the scene and moved his body to the City Mortuary in Nairobi.
A section of Kenyans have come forward to mourn the departed content creator.
Fellow TikTokers such as Nyako mourned Chira saying she was happy to have played a major part in his life,
“At least I played a major part in his life, Mungu amefanya vile amependa. I always talk about death on TikTok, I always tell you people, connect your journey with the last day, how do you want to breathe your last always,” Nyako said.
