The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened its application portal for the first revision of applicants’ choices for placement to universities, TVET institutions, Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs), and the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).

The portal opened on Monday and will remain accessible until April 4.

This revision phase provides a window for applicants to adjust their tertiary institution preferences and targets applicants yet to secure choices, 2023 KCSE examination candidates who scored C+ and above, and Form Four leavers from 2000 to 2023.

KUCCPS has further directed individuals who submitted their applications during the February/March 2024 period to confirm the status of their applications by logging into the placement board’s portal.

The portal was first opened on February 8 to allow candidates to select their universities and colleges of choice.

Students who completed their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams in 2023 and form four leavers between the years 2000 and 2022 were advised to apply.

However, students would later report challenges in making applications. This saw the deadline for applications extended two times.
