Lorna Achieng Omondi, daughter of the late CDF General Francis Ogolla, has expressed interest in entering politics.

During a recent Q&A session on her Instagram page, the outspoken lady engaged her followers by answering their questions.

Lorna, who currently works in strategy and operations for Google Data Centres Equipment Supply Chain, responded to several questions, including one about her potential political aspirations.

Asked if she would ever consider a career in politics, Lorna, the eldest daughter of General Ogolla, replied: “It has been on my mind for a long time. I really don’t know,” she said.

She also discussed her approach to maintaining her weight, revealing her vegetarian lifestyle, which she attributed to her 22 years as a vegan.

Lorna also revealed her plans to launch a podcast soon, thanking her followers for the engaging interaction and promising more such conversations in the future.

She invited suggestions for topics to be covered and concluded by expressing her excitement about the upcoming podcast launch.

“Guys, it’s been fun interacting with you all, sorry I can’t answer all your questions, but we’re going to do this more often and cover a wide range of conversations. Let me know what kind of conversations you want us to have. Lots of love. I am thinking of starting a podcast,” she said.

Lorna was thrust into the limelight after announcing the sad news of her father’s death.

Following the devastating helicopter crash of the Chief of Defence Forces, Lorna bravely spoke out and paid a moving tribute to her father.

She described General Ogolla as a “pursuer of excellence” and “the most compassionate and effective leader and statesman”.

She recounted his dedication to Kenya’s security over the past four decades, emphasising his commitment to service and protection.

“One day I will tell beautiful stories of how he taught with his actions and not with his words,” Lorna wrote, reflecting on her father’s powerful legacy. “But today – I rush home to send him off to the great beyond.”

Lorna who is based in San Francisco, US has also told her fans that she will be going back to work this coming week.
