Shiro Ka Ribui, known as Mama Bella, and her daughter Bella tragically passed away hours after she shared distressing posts on social media.

Many have questioned why her close friends and online acquaintances did not recognize her distress.

It is not clear what transpired leading to the tragedy that has left Nyeri residents in shock and disbelief. Ribui seemed to have resorted to seeking help from friends online, with various posts painting a grim image of her mental state before death.
The clinical officer shared posts on overcoming mental turmoil before she started a countdown that ended tragically with her demise.
