Rongo Sub-county Police Commander Salim Fundi confirmed the arrests and stated that a manhunt is underway for additional suspects.

Commander Fundi pledged to apprehend all individuals involved in the murder of Elizabeth Anyango, who was found by relatives lying in a pool of blood with stab wounds around her neck, indicating foul play.

In response to the incident, Fundi assured the public of immediate measures to restore security in Rongo Sub-County. He announced increased night patrols, particularly in areas with reported insecurity issues, and urged the community to collaborate with security officers to curb crime in the area.
