In Naivasha town, a manager of a supermarket, Hassan Salim, 38, was tragically killed in a suspected robbery.

His body was discovered in his house, lying in a pool of blood, long after the incident occurred. Salim had left work at a mall in the town on Tuesday evening but failed to report to work the following day, prompting concern from his colleagues.

When they went to his house at the Musaka complex building within Naivasha Township, they found it locked from the inside with blood spots on the door. Upon gaining entry with the help of the police, they found Salim’s body in the bedroom with several deep cuts on his head, indicating he was attacked in the house.

Police suspect he may have also been attacked while walking home. The body was moved to the mortuary for autopsy and further investigation.

Meanwhile, in Ngerenya, Kilifi County, the body of Charles Changawa was found near his house with a deep cut in the back of his head. The motive behind the murder is yet to be established as police continue their investigations.
