For the umpteenth time, TV actress and content creator Trisha Khalid says she is sick of claims she had a butt job to get her curvy body.

The 29-year-old, known for her voluptuous physique and online skits, says she is tired of explaining herself.

“Honestly, I am tired of this story. I am not going to explain myself anymore, people can think what they want,” Khalid says.

Ever since she burst into the limelight, her captivating physique has been the subject of debate, with some claiming she had to undergo a butt lift to achieve the perfect figure.

But Ms Khalid said she owes her hourglass figure to genetics inherited from her mother.

“My curves and butt are genetic, you should see my mum. She is so blessed Mashallah,” she told Saturday Magazine in an earlier interview.

Gene aside, the introverted actress who plays Becky on a local TV drama said she has worked out to maintain her physique but has never been consistent due to the time constraints caused by her acting schedule.

Having joined TikTok during the Covid-19 pandemic, Trisha’s growth as a person and a brand has been tremendous, something she says has now pushed her to avoid unnecessary fights she was fond of just to be trendy.

“I really respect my job and I think one of the ways to build your brand is to stay away from drama and that’s what I’ve been doing in the recent past, moving away from the drama that I was so fond of in the beginning. This is also part of my growth, if you want to analyse how far I have come since I started my journey in content creation.”

With her successes, Ms Khalid has been forced to adapt and sometimes even drop some colleagues and friends, which has led some of her fellow content creators to brand her a classist.

“I’m not a classist; I don’t look at people that way. I have come a long way and it would be wrong for me to act like I am in a different class to anybody else. Anyone who treats me nicely is my friend, I don’t discriminate. Everyone deserves respect. The God who raised me will surely raise others when the time comes,” she adds.
