Bayern Munich have opened talks with the agent of Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes.

Portuguese outlet, O Jogo, reports that the Bundesliga club has contacted Miguel Pinho, who represents the player.

Barcelona are also believed to be interested in Fernandes and could soon open negotiations.

Fernandes has been at Old Trafford for five seasons since he joined from Sporting Lisbon.

The 29-year-old has scored 79 goals and contributed 65 assists in 232 appearances.

His contract is set to expire in the summer of 2026.
