Homabay residents were filled with excitement on Thursday as Charlene Ruto visited the region to attend the Triple Threat Leadership Dialogue. The event aimed to address critical issues facing the community, particularly Gender-Based Violence, teenage pregnancies, and new HIV infections.

As Charlene made her way to the event, enthusiastic residents armed with their smartphones scrambled to take selfies and pictures, hoping to capture a moment with one of Kenya’s most recognizable young leaders.

Charlene, known for her advocacy for youth empowerment, emphasized the commitment of young people to raising awareness, advocating, and disseminating information to combat the triple threat effectively.
