Gospel minister Linet Munyali, popularly known as Size 8, has revealed how musician Bahati prophesied that she would have miscarriages in her marriage.
The revelation came during her appearance on ‘The Bahati’s Empire’, where Size 8 also condemned Bahati for his current music and lifestyle choices since moving from gospel to secular music.
Addressing Bahati directly, Size 8 reminded him of his strong connection to God before his switch to secular music.
“Size 8, I have not changed. I am still the same Bahati. It’s just that I don’t post when I pray,” Bahati replied, trying to reassure her of his unchanged faith.
Size 8 shared a significant prophecy that Bahati had shared early in their marriage.
“Bahati, do you know that you are a serious gospel artist, a gospel flag-bearer? You are a prophet. When I was two months into my marriage, you told me that the devil did not want DJ Mo and I to be together and that he would use miscarriages to destroy our marriage,” she recalled.
Explaining his side of the prophecy, Bahati said:
“I remember I was along Kiambu Road and I called Size 8. I told her that she was going to have an attack, a miscarriage or something bad. But I always believe that when God speaks, He has a solution. I prepared her for the victory that was to come”.
In defence of his current musical direction, Bahati asserted: “I left the gospel scene when I was still the number one gospel artist in Kenya. I believe I am still the best gospel artist. But what is gospel? They say the gospel is in your heart.”
He went on to justify his actions, explaining that some of his videos are just acting.
“Sometimes we do things to show our fans that we are up to date. There is nothing big. There are no songs I have done that are not good”.
Over the years, the size 8 has suffered two miscarriages in her marriage as a result of high blood pressure and other health complications.
In 2020, she said the miscarriage she suffered in 2018 really affected them.
“We fought a lot and we blamed each other because we didn’t know how to deal with it. It was very bad, but with our son we were able to come together and support each other.”
