A female Principal Magistrate was shot and wounded at the Makadara Law Courts in Nairobi, according to police reports.

The incident occurred during an active court session when a police officer allegedly shot the magistrate. The injured magistrate has been rushed to the hospital for treatment. The police officer involved in the shooting has reportedly been killed, although the motive behind the incident remains unknown and is under investigation.
