Police have arrested six members of a gang linked to multiple crimes in Suna East, Migori County. Area chief Evans Achola reported that the gang had been terrorizing the local community. The arrests were made in response to residents’ calls for police action against those responsible for a series of attacks.

Preliminary reports suggest that the suspects belong to a gang known as the 42 Brothers. Two days ago, two individuals, including a local school teacher, were attacked in Uriri while they were among a group pursuing suspected cattle rustlers.

Additionally, police confirmed that a crackdown on those involved in criminal activities in the region is ongoing.
