Gor Mahia secured their 21st title in the 2023/24 FKF Premier League with a decisive 4-3 victory over Bidco United at Machakos Stadium on Sunday, June 23, 2024. Despite already sealing the championship by round 31, Gor Mahia finished the season on a high note with 73 points.

The match saw Benson Omalla scoring twice in the 1st and 5th minutes, giving Gor Mahia an early 2-0 lead. Bidco United responded with goals from Kelwish John in the 34th and 66th minutes, leveling the score temporarily.

Shaban Mark added a third goal for Gor Mahia in the 83rd minute, followed by Rooney Onyango securing the victory with a goal in the 90+2nd minute. Bidco United’s Jacob Onyango scored in the 94th minute, but it wasn’t enough to overturn Gor Mahia’s lead.

In the final standings, Tusker FC finished second with 65 points, followed by Kenya Police in third with 59 points. Meanwhile, Muhoroni Youth and Nzoia Sugar were relegated, with Sofapaka earning a playoff spot after defeating Nzoia Sugar 3-1.

Benson Omalla claimed the golden boot with 19 goals, while Tito Okello and John Mark Makwatta tied for second place with 16 goals each.
