A man has been charged with disclosing a minor’s personal data to a third party without authority.
Appearing before magistrate R.M. Ndombi at the Milimani Law Court on Monday, Hatim Mohamed was arraigned and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
According to the charge sheet, Hatim disclosed the minor’s data to Lynn Ng’ang’a, a lawyer handling his civil case, on September 19, 2023, at Gigiri courtyard in Westlands without the court’s authority.
Ng’ang’a obtained CCTV footage showing the minor.
Hatim who was out on a police cash bail was granted a cash bail of Ksh.300,000.
The case will be mentioned on July 28.
