Slovenia manager Matjaz Kek has said that his side has no fear for European giants Portugal.
Both sides will clash in the round of sixteen of the ongoing Euro 2024 in Germany and the manager insisted that they are well-prepared to face the Cristiano Ronaldo-led side.
Addressing the press ahead of the game, he admitted that Slovenia, not the favourites in the match, are relishing the challenge.
Kek said (via French outlet RFI): “When you look at their squad list, you get a headache, they can rotate and change however much they want.
“But our approach does not change because of that. I see Portugal as one of the favourites to win the tournament, but Slovenia has not been the favourite in all three group matches, and we’re not the favourites tomorrow.
“We’re not afraid of them; we’re really glad to be able to play against such teams. It will be a tough match, but we’re really happy to be able to play it.”
