Transport was disrupted on Monday along the Kehancha-Lolgorian Road after floods overflowed Mogor Bridge in Narok County.

Motorists and pedestrians were seen attempting to cross the flooded bridge while calling on Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu to address the repairs.

One resident, speaking to the media, expressed her frustration at being unable to return home to see her children. She explained that after visiting Lolgorian Market, she discovered the bridge had been flooded on her way back.

Another resident noted that they have been using the same bridge since the 1930s and argued that it needs an upgrade.

The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has not yet responded to the situation.
