A 75-year-old man died after he was allegedly attacked by his neighbor with a walking stick during a confrontation in Kopsiro, Bungoma County. According to police, Hudson Cheboit was struck on the head and was rushed to Bungoma County Referral Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 13. The suspect has been arrested and is awaiting arraignment, while the body has been taken to a local mortuary. The altercation reportedly stemmed from a disagreement over land in the area.

The victim was rushed to Kimilili Subcounty Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment. Police reported that the victim had suffered burn injuries on his back.
