AC Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani stated on Thursday that Rafael Leao will not be transferring to Barcelona, despite ongoing speculation about a potential move for the Portugal winger. Speaking to reporters as he left Milan’s training ground, Furlani emphasized that there is “zero possibility” of Leao departing from the seven-time European champions. When asked if Leao might request a transfer, Furlani was “sure” that the 25-year-old would not. Leao, whose contract extends until 2028, is a key player for Milan and reportedly a target for Barcelona. Milan began their Serie A season with a dramatic 2-2 draw against Torino after coming back from a two-goal deficit. Paulo Fonseca’s team will face promoted Parma on Saturday evening.
