Citizens living in Ntimaru, Kuria East sub-county, and neighboring areas are calling on the government to improve the network coverage, citing frequent disruptions that hinder their ability to make calls.

Traders in the town have expressed frustration over lost business due to the unreliable network, which disconnects them from potential customers. “There was a time I was selling goods at the market when I suddenly received a message welcoming me to a neighboring country, even though I am right here in Kenya,” said Wangoi Munene, a trader in Ntimaru.

John Ndegwa, a veterinary officer, added that he often has to walk several miles from his office just to get a reliable network signal to communicate with his customers.

Residents are frustrated by the lack of stable network coverage and are urging the government to take action. The areas most affected include Ntimaru, Motemorabu, Gukipimo, Isebania, and Taragwiti, among other small bordering towns.
