The NCIC has summoned five leaders regarding the situation, including Bura lawmaker Yakub Adow Kuno, who, through his lawyer, sent a text stating that he is currently hospitalized. County MP Amina Dika Abudulahi also communicated via her lawyer that she is out of the country.

Last Friday, a team from the DCI interrogated several politicians from the county, led by Governor Godana Dhado, concerning the recent clashes.

On the same day, Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki declared two sub-counties as disturbed and dangerous areas through a gazette notice, effective for a period of 30 days.

The National Police Service (NPS), along with other agencies, has set up in the affected areas to restore calm and normalcy in the region.
