Former Lancet CEO Dr. Ahmed Kalebi is now relying on a new state-of-the-art laboratory to transform the healthcare industry. This follows the opening of a cutting-edge, fully automated laboratory at Real Towers Annexe along Hospital Road in Upper Hill, Nairobi.

Speaking after the launch, the renowned pathologist noted that Dr. Kalebi Labs (DKL) has been at the forefront of medical diagnostics and laboratory services in Kenya and East Africa. With a commitment to innovation, quality, and patient-centered care, he emphasized that the lab continues to set new benchmarks in the region’s healthcare industry.

“The facility marks a significant advancement in healthcare and diagnostics in Africa. It is the first laboratory of its kind on the continent, utilizing the latest Total Lab Automation (TLA) technology to provide rapid, accurate, and reliable diagnostic results,” Kalebi stated.

He added that the lab’s mission is to elevate the standard of healthcare across the country and beyond. “By investing in fully automated systems, we are ensuring that diagnostics are not only more efficient but also more accessible to everyone in the region,” he explained.

Dr. Kalebi described the facility as representing the future of healthcare, where precision, speed, and reliability converge to deliver the best possible care for all. The lab is equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic machines capable of handling a wide range of tests, from routine blood work to complex genetic testing.

“By leveraging artificial intelligence and robotics, Dr. Kalebi Labs ensures minimal human error, providing patients with trustworthy results and facilitating faster clinical decisions for doctors and healthcare professionals,” he said.

Key features of the lab include fully automated diagnostic systems that deliver rapid results with high accuracy and expanded testing capabilities covering a broad spectrum of medical and diagnostic services. The facility’s efficient equipment will significantly reduce the waiting time for results.

Dr. Kalebi confirmed that the laboratory will operate around the clock, ensuring patients receive timely results regardless of their location or time of need. “We are committed to offering affordable and accessible healthcare solutions, and this new facility underscores our dedication to making world-class diagnostics a reality for all Kenyans,” he added.
