President William Ruto has announced that the price of fertilizer in Kenya will remain fixed at Ksh2,500, regardless of its intended use. Speaking during the Mashujaa Day celebrations in Kwale County, the President emphasized the importance of maintaining uniform fertilizer prices, citing the positive impact on food production.

“The fertilizer will continue to retail at Ksh2,500. We will make sure prices are universal because we have seen the impact on food production,” Ruto stated.

He also confirmed that the government has completed the procurement process for the next batch of fertilizer, ensuring continued support for farmers across the country.
