Liverpool manager, Arne Slot, has given an update on Diogo Jota’s injury after he limped out of their 2-1 victory over Chelsea.
The Reds maintained their spot on top of the Premier League table thanks to the win.
But it came at a cost, as Jota was subbed off on the half hour mark as he could not continue.
Slot believes the 27-year-old is a doubt for this week’s Champions League clash away at RB Leipzig.
He said: “Diogo had to be substituted and I am not sure what it is, but I’d be surprised if he is there on Wednesday.”
Jota has scored four goals in all competitions this season and it remains to be seen if he will be available for the trip to Arsenal next Sunday.
