Manchester City midfielder, Rodri, has picked Lionel Messi as the best player in history.

Rodri himself was awarded the 2024 Ballon d’Or prize last month.

Although it is his first, Messi has won it eight times, three more than Al Nassr’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

“Zero doubts. For me, Leo Messi is the best player ever,” Rodri told El Hormiguero.

“When he received the ball, you were thinking: there is danger coming…

“When I faced him, I would try to take the ball away from him, but he would get away from you as if you weren’t there.”
