Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has criticized President William Ruto’s administration for allowing Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces, one of the key factions in the country’s civil war, to hold a meeting in Nairobi.

Speaking at Rwangondu in Kirinyaga where he attended a wedding ceremony, Kalonzo said the meetings that RSF has been holding with their allies in the capital Nairobi to form a parallel government in Sudan goes against Kenya’s role, that of uniting nations in conflict.

“Hii sio nchi ambayo mwenendo wetu ni kugonganisha kazi yetu ni kuunganisha wananchi wa Kenya mimi binafsi nimepigania nchi ya Somalia katika kazi nyingi zaidi,” he said.

He accused the government of interfering with the political affairs of neighbouring countries, a move that is putting the nation’s security on the line.

According to Kalonzo, the recent loss at the African Union chairmanship was a clear indication of the wanting relationship between Kenya and other African countries.

“Sio Raila alishindwa kwa kinyang’anyiro, ni yeye alishindwa kwa sababu ya kutokuwa na ushisiano mzuri na marais wengine that is the all thing because hata Raila hakuwa anapiga kura ni marais walikuwa wanapiga kura, rais wa Uganda, Tanzania,” he added.

He said he would engage Mt.Kenya region leaders including former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua and NARC Kenya leader Martha Karua on forging a united front.

“This coming week nitaungana na dada yangu Martha Wangari Karua anaunda upya chama chake cha Narc K, wakati Riggy G atakuwa naunda chama chake nitakuwa pale. Ruto alijaribu kuharibu chama ya uhuru Jubilee lakini sasa ameachilia apende asipende ameachilia kisheria kwa hivo Uhuru is still the Coalition leader wa Azimio.”
