Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has compared himself to his Arsenal counterpart, Mikel Arteta.

Amorim believes he will not get the same time to turn things around for Man United as Arteta enjoyed at Arsenal.

The Portuguese arrived at Old Trafford last November and has endured more downs than ups since replacing Erik ten Hag.

Amorim’s side currently sits in 14th position in the Premier League table.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Man United’s Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday, Amorim said:

“I will not have the time that Arteta had. I feel that.

“It’s a different club. So we just need to survive—the players on Sunday and me during these games. I think it’s a different club.”

Arteta was appointed Arsenal manager in December 2019.

He is yet to win the Premier League title with the Gunners.

Arteta came close to winning the English top-flight league in the last two seasons, finishing in second place behind champions Manchester City.
