Former Chelsea defender, William Gallas has insisted that Jadon Sancho can’t stay at the Blues because he has to do more.

Gallas said while urging Chelsea to reconsider their decision to sign the England international permanently as he insisted that the player can’t perform at the Premier League west London club.

The Frenchman was not impressed with Sancho’s display for Chelsea against Arsenal on Sunday at Emirates Stadium.

Recall that Sancho did not really impressed as Arsenal defeated Chelsea 1-0 in the Premier League, thanks to Mikel Merino’s first-half header.

“That player [Sancho] has talent. He is a talented player, everybody knows this, but we don’t know why he can’t perform and can’t show what he can do,” Gallas told Stadium Astro.

“At Dortmund, he was magnificent. At Manchester United it didn’t work well for him. He came to Chelsea and at the beginning we saw that Sancho from Dortmund, but then he disappeared.

“I don’t know what the problem is, but at the moment he can’t stay at Chelsea because he has to do more.”

Sancho joined Chelsea on a loan deal from Manchester United last summer.

His deal is set to become permanent for a fee between £22million and £25million if Chelsea finish 14th or higher on the Premier League table.
