Former Kisumu Town West MP Kenn Nyagudi is dead.

Nyagudi died on Sunday night while receiving treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital.

National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula led members in mourning the late former Kisumu Town West MP.

Wetangula sent his sympathies to the family and friends of Nyagudi, praying for comfort for his loved ones.

The late Nyagudi was first elected in 2004 following the demise of Joab Omino.

“I was privileged to have interacted with him when I was the Foreign Affairs Minister.  May his family be consoled and find comfort in the Lord’s arms. May his soul rest in peace,” Wetangula stated.
