UCL: ‘What a player’ – Man City’s Grealish hails Arsenal midfielder after Real Madrid win

Manchester City star, Jack Grealish has hailed Arsenal midfielder, Jack Grealish after the Gunners’ UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg 2-1 win against Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Grealish, an England team-mate and close friend of Rice, showed his appreciation for Rice after Arsenal eliminated Real Madrid from the Champions League.

Posting a picture of Rice being interviewed on TV on his Instagram story, Grealish said: “What a player man.”

interestingly, Grealish team Man City were eliminated from the Champions League this season at the hands of Real Madrid.

Rice was everywhere on the pitch ensuring Real Madrid didn’t get a comeback after losing to the Premier League North London club 3-0 last week at Emirates Stadium.

The 26-year-old won the man of the match award for his brilliant display for Mikel Arteta’s side.

His team-mates Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli scored the goals for the visitors.

Arsenal advanced to the Champions League semi-final stage with a 5-1 aggregate victory.

They will now face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-final stage later this month.
