Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has said he is not sure if he will still be in charge of the team for the Club World Cup later this year.

Ancelotti was speaking to the media after Los Blancos lost 2-1 to Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-final second leg on Wednesday night.

The LaLiga champions were thrashed 3-0 in the first leg last week and failed to trouble the Gunners at the Bernabeu.

Bukayo Saka put Arsenal ahead, before Vincius Junior levelled the game on the night. But Gabriel Martinelli scored in the 93rd minute, to ensure Mikel Arteta’s men won both legs.

Ahead of the game, there had been speculations about Ancelotti’s future with Madrid, as they are also struggling to defend their league.

And when asked at full time if he would still be in charge by the summer, the Italian replied: “My future? I don’t know, and I don’t want to know.

“Will I be the manager in Club World Cup? I can’t speak to you about this now.

“If the club decides to change, no problem, I’ll thank them.”
