Europa League leading scorers after this week’s semi-final fixtures

Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes, Olympiacos’ Ayoub El Kaabi and Bodø/Glimt’s Kasper Høgh are the joint-top leading scorer in the UEFA Europa League, UEL, following the conclusion of the semi-final first leg fixtures on Thursday night.

Recall that Manchester United defeated Athletic Club 3-0 in Spain, thanks to a brace from Bruno Fernandes and a strike from Casemiro.

Tottenham Hotspur also defeated also defeated Bodø/Glimt 3-1 in the other semi-final fixture in England.

However, Fernandes, alongside El Kaabi and Høgh are currently the leading scorers in the Europa League this season.

The trio have seven goals each to their names ahead of the Europa League last-4 second leg fixtures next week.

Europa League leading scorers so far:

7 goals – Bruno Fernandes, Ayoub El Kaabi and Kasper Høgh

6 goals – Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray), Samu (Porto) and Barnabás Varga (Ferencváros), Youssef En-Nesyri (Fenerbahçe), Malick Fofana (Lyon) and Václav Černý (Rangers).

5 goals – Nico Williams (Athletic Club), Inaki Williams (Athletic Club) and Rasmus Højlund (Manchester United).
