President Ruto begins Homa Bay tour ahead of Madaraka Day

President William Ruto will on Thursday begin his tour in Homa Bay County to launch and inspect various development projects ahead of Madaraka Day.

The national celebrations will be held on Sunday at the Raila Odinga Stadium.

The president will kick of his Homa Bay Tour in Ndhiwa Constituency, where he will launch the construction of Gor Mahia Ring Road in Magina and launch Ndhiwa Technical Training Institute (TTI) in Kanyamwa Kologi ward.

The Head of State will on Friday close the Blue Economy conference at Tom Mboya University before inspecting and commissioning projects in various parts of the county.

Ndhiwa MP Martin Owino has rallied residents to came out in large numbers to welcome the Head of State in his development tour in the region.

On the other hand, a section of clergy in Homa Bay have also welcomed the president’s visit.

Bishop Adede Ongola of Agano Ark Covenant church praised president Ruto for undertaking various projects in the county to improve the living standard of the residents.
