Media personality Gloria Ntazola has said she chooses to protect her energy because, in her view, most people are mentally sick and in denial.
She said this while explaining why she prefers solitude and avoids unnecessary social interactions.
Ntazola on Saturday, September 26, 2025, said her decision to stay alone is not about pride or isolation but about self-preservation.
“I love to be alone because everyone is sick, like mentally sick, and they are adamant to go for therapy,” she said. According to her, many people are struggling with psychological issues such as bipolar disorder or unstable emotions but refuse to seek professional help. “It’s either u dealing with a psychopath or a bipolar,” she added.

She explained that protecting her energy has become an important part of her lifestyle. “I protect my energy because that’s what feeds me,” Ntazola said.
She noted that being surrounded by negativity can drain a person’s peace of mind and happiness, which is why she focuses on maintaining positive thoughts and a calm mind.
‘Energy is infectious’
Ntazola emphasised the power of energy in shaping people’s lives. “Good vibes, positive minds and a sober conscience attract good things,” she said.
She believes that when people focus on positivity, they open doors for better experiences, but when they dwell on negativity, it attracts trouble.
“Negative vibes, negative thoughts and a disturbed mind attract misery and pain,” she stated.
She went on to say that energy is contagious and can easily influence one’s emotional and mental state.
“Energy is infectious. Whatever you feed is what you become,” Ntazola said.
Her message was that individuals should be more aware of the kind of energy they give and receive in their daily lives.
Ntazola’s comments highlight the growing conversation around mental health and personal boundaries, especially in a world where social pressure and emotional stress are common.
By choosing solitude and protecting her peace, she said she is simply prioritising her mental well-being and spiritual growth.
Her remarks have added to ongoing discussions about the importance of self-awareness and the need for therapy and emotional healing.
According to Ntazola, taking care of one’s mental state should not be viewed as a weakness but as a strength.
