Pressure continues to mount on Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen and the Police Inspector General, Douglas Kanja, to take action against a foreigner who was filmed yelling at and harassing police officers at Diani Police Station in Kwale County.
In the widely circulated video, the Caucasian man can be seen confronting two uniformed police officers standing in front of the reporting desk and verbally abusing them..
The video, which was widely circulated on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, evening and Wednesday, October 29, 2025, morning, showed the unsettled foreigner spitting towards a male officer standing at one end of the room.

According to police, the person of interest was detained following multiple offences, including assault, malicious property damage, and creating a disturbance at a hotel facility where he was staying.
Kenyans now want CS Murkomen and IG Kanja to hold the foreigner accountable for openly and publicly harassing the police.
Among those protesting is Vocal Africa Chief Executive Officer Hussein Khalid, who criticised the National Police Service (NPS) leadership for negligence by failing to protect the two officers.
“The National Police Service is so ready to take action against Kenyans protesting for a better Kenya, yet they accept being ill-treated like this by a white guy right inside a police station?” he questioned.
Reports further indicated that it took the intervention of the hotel management and police officers to stop the suspect from attacking his girlfriend, who sustained injuries and was rushed to the hospital.

Police verbally assaulted?
In a video seen by K24 Digital, the visibly intoxicated person of interest, dressed in shorts, is seen confronting and attacking officers on duty. He hurls insults and, at one point, blows mucus through his nostrils toward one of the officers.
Despite his violent outburst, the two officers, a man and a woman, remain calm, maintaining their composure as the person of interest moves erratically around the report office.
Police reports indicate that the man was arrested after hotel staff raised the alarm about a violent disturbance involving a guest who is said to have assaulted his partner inside their room.
Responding officers found that the hotel’s management and security team had already rescued the woman, who was rushed to the hospital for treatment. She is said to have sustained injuries during the assault.
Moments later, the person of interest could be seen wiping his hands on the officer’s uniform after blowing his nose, demonstrating his contempt and arrogance.
As things escalated, the foreigner who kept moving across the reporting desk began confronting a third person who stood outside the reception, questioning why he was recording the incident.
