Content creator Yvonne Mugure has opened up about a moment she describes as a near‑death experience, saying the feeling was nothing as she expected.
On Friday, December 12, 2025, she said she had been “dying to talk about this” and wanted to share it again for her new audience. According to her, the moment felt calm, peaceful and surprisingly pleasant.
Yvonne explained that she first mentioned this experience about four years ago, but decided to revisit it after her recent video gained attention.
“Near-death experience, that is what they usually call it,” she said, adding that she could only speak about her own experience and not what anyone else believes.
What she says she felt
She recalled feeling unusually light, as if she were almost floating.
“Whether you want to believe it or not… you should not even be afraid, it feels amazing,” she said.
Yvonne added that she was fully aware of what was happening and kept asking herself questions as she tried to understand where she was. She said the responses came to her instantly and naturally.

“I was there and when I got there… it is like you ask a question and the answer comes to you like the way you would drink water,” she said.
She explained that this was the simplest way she could express what she felt, because the experience was unlike anything she had ever gone through. She also described hearing—or sensing—what she calls a response when she asked where she was.
“I asked where I am, and I was told, where you are meant to be. Or something along those lines,” she said.
Yvonne was clear that she could not identify the source of the response.
“I can’t say that I was told by like Jesus, or God, it is like I was told by like a person, it was like by a feeling,” she said.
Throughout her explanation, Yvonne repeated that the best way to describe the moment was through feeling rather than sound or sight. She said the experience was calm and reassuring, not frightening, and that she understood the answers without hearing an actual voice.
