Kathy Kiuna has spoken about life with her children following the death of her husband, Bishop Allan Kiuna.
In a brief but emotional message on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, she said her faith and family have carried her through a difficult season
“Surely God is too faithful that all my children are with me,” she said.
She added that loss has been painful, but unity has remained strong.

She acknowledged the absence left by her late husband, saying, “We all miss bishop so much.”
At the same time, she pointed to gratitude as a daily anchor. “But thank God for each other,” she said, making it clear that togetherness has helped them cope after his passing.
Kathy described this season as one shaped by faith rather than despair. She credited God for keeping her family close, noting that being surrounded by her children has been a constant source of strength. Her words reflected a balance of grief and hope.
She has continued to speak openly about her journey since losing Bishop Kiuna, often returning to faith as her foundation. “God is too faithful,” she repeated, emphasising trust in God’s presence through moments of sadness and adjustment.
Life after loss and holding the family together
A significant change occurred with the engagement of her son, Jeremy Kiuna, to Stephanie Githinji. Kathy expressed joy over the milestone, describing Stephanie as a blessing from God. She celebrated the love and commitment shared by the couple, saying the moment brought happiness to the family.

Sharing the moment, she said, “This weekend we had our Ruracio @stephanie.githinji, it was such a blessing.”
She described the gathering as meaningful and filled with gratitude.
She continued, “It was such a blessing to have so many amazing people.” Kathy expressed appreciation for the support shown to her family.
“It’s an honour we thank everyone for loving us,” she said, before adding, “But most importantly, we thank God for GRACE.”
On December 10, 2025, Kathy also marked what would have been Bishop Kiuna’s 59th birthday. The day carried double meaning, as it would have also been their 31st wedding anniversary. She shared that she continues to hold on to faith and memories.
