Content creator Shorn Arwa has called on socialite Vera Sidika to consider giving her past romance with singer Otile Brown another chance, arguing it could ignite the Kenyan music scene.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, Arwa reflected on the creative spark that once existed between the two, highlighting how their connection seemed to fuel some of Otile’s biggest hits.
“So, Vera Sidika, we are actually humbly requesting, can you please give, you know, one last chance?” Arwa said, stressing the potential of their reunion.
Arwa referenced the iconic 2018 hit Baby Love, which Otile Brown dedicated to Sidika at the time.
“When Vera was with Otile Brown, this nigga was singing… I don’t know what Vera was giving Otile Brown. Listen. Listen. Listen! Why? What are you doing? Ah!” she continued, pointing to the magic that emerged from their past chemistry.

She didn’t hold back on addressing Otile’s current dating life, adding, “Somebody cannot heartbreak Otile Brown and then send that nigga in the studio and give us a back-to-back song? Vera Sidika! Wake up!”
Otile lauds Vera’s impact
In a past interview with Oga Obinna, singer Otile Brown opened up about the significant role Vera Sidika played in his music career.

He credited her social influence and support for helping him gain traction during his early days.
“I’ve always given her flowers. I think it’s only right. I was big but not all the way. Being that she was a popular socialite at the time, it kinda fueled it,” Brown said.
He dismissed claims that their relationship was ever about clout, stressing that their connection was genuine and organic.
After their 2018 breakup, Otile Brown revealed that he wasn’t interested in socialite Vera Sidika from the onset, but Sidika managed to work her way into his heart.
“I was never physically attracted to Vera, and not even a single day did I make advances at her. She did. I am not lying, and it was about time I revealed the truth,” said the Mapenzi Hisia star.
