Singer Jovial has admitted that she enjoys going through her partner’s phone.
She made the statement on Instagram on Friday, January 30, 2026, saying she has no plans to stop checking it.
“Simu nayo mimi sitawahi wacha kuchokora! Napendaaaa uuwwwiiii!” she said, making it clear that this is something she likes doing.
She later added that her actions are not driven by insecurity. Jovial explained that checking her partner’s phone is about openness in the relationship.
“It has nothing to do with insecurities bana! It’s called transparency!” she said. She added that she does not believe in relationships built on survival or fear.
Jovial said she believes honesty between partners is important. She insisted that openness should not be confused with mistrust.
Clarifying her position
“Some of us don’t do survival!” she said, adding that people view relationships differently and handle trust in their own ways.
After some time, Jovial shared another message to clarify her position.
She also hinted that new music is on the way, saying, “Anyway, new music dropping soon.”
