Kigooco singer and self-styled prophet Watoro wa Mother, who has been trending after walking from OTC to Githunguri rallying for a handshake between Rigathi Gachagua and William Ruto, is in distress after his daughter went missing.
In a Facebook post he tagged as breaking news on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, Watoro revealed that his daughter, identified as Martha Wangeci Watoro, disappeared on the evening of Sunday, February 8, 2026.
“Breaking news. My daughter is missing. Anyone with any information is requested to contact me at 0722452178,” Watoro wrote.

He stated that the matter was formally reported the following day at Kwa Maji Police Station, where an official police report was recorded.
“She went missing on Sunday evening, and the matter was reported yesterday at Kwa Maji Police Station,” he added.
Watoro further shared images of the police OB report to confirm that the case had been officially logged on February 10, 2026, as investigations into the disappearance began.
According to the details provided in his search poster, Martha Wangeci is a student at Dandora Girls High School.
He appealed to members of the public to assist with any information that could help trace his daughter, urging anyone with leads to reach out through the contact he provided.
“Missing student Martha Wangeci Watoro. Dandora Girls. Anyone with information, please contact me,” the poster Watoro shared read in part.

Elusive walking challenge
The distressing development comes shortly after Watoro gained public attention for staging a 38.4-kilometre walk from Nairobi’s OTC to Githunguri town, an event he widely documented on social media.
During the walk, he said the journey was aimed at calling for unity between President William Ruto and former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua through a political handshake.
He described the trek as an “American prophecy walk”, stating that it carried a prophetic message and symbolised what he termed two miracles.
“I completed a 38.4-kilometre walk from Nairobi OTC to Githunguri town. My message was a call for a handshake between President William Ruto and former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. This was an American prophecy walk,” Watoro wrote on Facebook.
In a separate post, the singer explained that he deliberately chose Githunguri as his destination because it is a constituency led by Woman Representative Gathoni Wamuchomba, whom he hoped would help initiate the proposed handshake between the two leaders.
“Jehovah revealed that there are two miracles. That is why I travelled from Nairobi OTC to Githunguri town. My message to Gathoni wa Muchomba was that I want her to be the one to initiate this handshake, which is why I travelled to Githunguri, a constituency under her leadership. The American prophecy walk is ongoing,” he wrote.
