Tanzanian entrepreneur Hamisa Mobetto and her Burkinabe footballer Stéphane Aziz Ki are celebrating their first wedding anniversary.
Taking to his official Instagram account on Monday, February 16, 2026, Aziz Ki shared a heartfelt tribute to his wife, Hamisa, expressing gratitude for their journey together.
He also thanked God, adding that he was grateful for the peace and growth he has experienced in marriage for the past year.
“One year today. Thank you, God. I’m grateful for the peace, the growth, and the prayers we share,” Aziz wrote.
In addition, Aziz further affirmed his love for the mother of two, adding that he is praying for continued guidance, love, and protection in their marriage.
“May GOD continue to guide us, protect our home, and increase us in love and understanding, now and forever. 🤍Nakupenda Sana @hamisamobetto,” he said.
Anniversary gift
To mark the occasion, Aziz Ki also surprised Hamisa with a brand-new car, adding a luxurious touch to their anniversary celebrations.
“This is just a small gesture to say thank you for being the woman you are, patient, strong, loving, and full of light,” he said.
The footballer further added that no gift could fully express his love and admiration for Hamisa.
“No amount of gifts, no expensive gift I am going to give you, that would say how much I love, cherish, and adore you, my beautiful wife. You are a blessing in so many ways,” Aziz noted.
Wedding
The two lovebirds tied the knot on February 16, 2025, in Dar es Salaam.
The wedding festivities began on Saturday with an elaborate dowry payment ceremony, where Aziz Ki demonstrated his deep commitment to his bride by presenting a dowry of 30 cows.
The official dowry presentation was carried out by Yanga SC President Hersi Said, who represented Aziz Ki’s family. The special event was held at Gofu Grounds in Mikocheni, Dar es Salaam, and was attended by close family and friends.
The Yanga SC striker arrived at the event accompanied by several of his teammates, including Pacome Zouzoua, Bakari Mwamnyeto, Yao Kouassi, as well as the club’s Public Relations Officer, Ali Kamwe.
The Tanzanian socialite made a stunning entrance at the ceremony, arriving with her manager, Paul Mangoma. She was preceded by 15 elegantly dressed bridesmaids, adding a touch of glamour and grace to the event. As she took her place at the ceremony, she expressed gratitude for finding a partner she deeply loves and believes is right for her.
Hamisa stated that she felt at peace with her decision and prayed for divine guidance as they embarked on their new chapter together. Meanwhile, Aziz Ki shared his joy, stating that his long search for a life partner had come to an end, as he had found a woman he truly loved.
“This is where I’ve reached, having found someone with genuine love for me. Our souls are in harmony. I pray to God to guide us as we move forward with our plans,” Hamisa expressed.
The wedding celebrations are set to continue with the official ceremony scheduled for February 19, 2025, at The SuperDome in Masaki, Dar es Salaam.
