Nairobi lady Caroline Nimo has opened up about her encounter with the viral Russian man, revealing the regrets she feels about how events unfolded.
Speaking during an interview with a local radio station, on Friday, February 27,2026, Nimo reflected on her decision to meeting up with the Russian at his apartment on their first dating noting that it was the biggest mistake.
She further acknowledged that trusting a stranger so quickly was a serious lapse in judgment.
“Kitu ya kwanza kwenda kwake was the biggest mistake, like a stranger kuniambia tuende kwake na naamua kwenda, for me hiyo ndio ilikuwa makosa kwanza kubwa sana and plus this person pia amenitoa kanisani direct to his apartment so kurudi nyuma kwake siwezi enda,”Nimo revealed.
Going to his apartment
She revealed that following several online conversations, they agreed to meet for a date at his apartment.
“After tumeongea aliniambia we can meet for a date, nikamwambia kanisani ndio ulinipata hapo ndio utakuja kunipick, the second click ndio alionyeshana kama tuko kanisani ata bishop alikuwa anaongea,”Nimo explained.
“Mimi kabla nitoke nilikuwa nisha ambia marafiki wangu wawili, nikawaambia tumeenda kwa apartment yake na pahali iko nilikuwa nawa update kila kitu.“
In addition, Nimo explained that nothing inappropriate happened between them during the visit at his apartment.
“Nothing happened between us, kama ilikuwa I happen ingehappen but haikuhappen but nikama hiyo ndio ilikuwa intension yake ya hit and run,” she explained.
First meeting
Nimo, who refers to herself as a church girl further the first meeting with the man took place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at church.
She recounted that while attending the service with friends, the man approached them and shifted his attention toward her, asking her age and inquiring about the large crowd at the church. She explained that it was a church gathering, and he later asked for her number, which she gave.

After obtaining her contact, Nimo said he later texted her and even sent a tour of his house video.

Nimo further clarified that he did not wear glasses constantly and that many parts of their encounter were not recorded.
