Real Madrid forward, Kylian Mbappe has issued a challenge to Bundesliga powerhouse, Bayern Munich in anticipation of the highly anticipated UEFA Champions League clash between the two teams next month.

Mbappe is currently representing his country, netting France’s opening goal in their 2-1 friendly victory over five-time world champions Brazil at the Gillette Stadium in Boston on Thursday.

The French international is enjoying an outstanding second season with Los Blancos, having scored nearly 40 goals across all competitions, including 13 goals in nine Champions League matches.

“Yes, of course I want to win with Real,” Mbappe stated during the Telefoot program on TF1.

Addressing concerns that he is solely focused on the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America, Mbappe remarked, “In Spain, some individuals are somewhat anxious that I won’t be participating – they believe I’ll be heading directly to the World Cup.

“However, this is of utmost importance. We are still competing in La Liga and the Champions League.

“In the Champions League, we are facing a formidable opponent, likely the team in the best form at present. If there is one team capable of defeating them, it is Real Madrid.”
