Tanzanian music star Naseed Abdul Juma, famously known as Diamond Platnumz, has yet again opened up about his memorable visit to American rapper and music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ house in the United States, giving fans a rare glimpse into his interactions with international music icons.
Speaking in an interview with Wasafi FM on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, Diamond shared that Swizz Beatz, the renowned producer, has been a supporter and mentor in various ways.
Diamond recounted that after meeting Swizz Beatz, they headed to P Diddy’s studio. There, he observed Diddy’s new artiste recording while other artistes were present, including both male and female performers.
He also mentioned seeing P Diddy’s children at the location.
“Swizz Beatz ni mtu ambaye amenikubali na amenipambania kwa mambo tofauti, so tulitoka tukaenda kwa Diddy, nalebo, tukafika kwa studio yake kukakuwa na msanii wake mpya anarecord na wasanii wake wengine walikuwepo pia mmoja wa kiume mwengine wa kike, watoto wake walikuwepo pia baada ya hapo akaniuliza unafanya record, Swiss Beatz pia akaja,” Diamond disclosed.
Following the studio session, the happy hitmaker said that they relaxed by the swimming pool and shared a meal before heading out.
“Kutoka hapo tukashuka kwenye swimming pool, tukakula chakula kwa pamoja.Baada ya hapo sisi tukaondoka tukaenda zetu,” he added.
Diamond at Diddy’s house party
Earlier the bongo star spoke about attending the party at Diddy’s house, recounting it during an August 2021 interview on Wasafi Radio.
The Wasafi boss admitted they had attended one of Diddy’s infamous parties just before the July 4 holiday – America’s Independence Day celebrations.
“Kweli tulienda kwa Diddy, nafikiri siku moja kabla ya uhuru wa Marekani. Tulikua kwa Diddy siku tulienda…” Diamond recalled.
However, the Tanzanian superstar hinted that certain things happened at Diddy’s party that he couldn’t publicly discuss.
“Yeah tukakaa kuna vitu tukafanya, kuna mambo tulikua tunafanya alafu… Tuseme yaliofanyika sio ya kupost sababu yana future inayoendelea mbele. Sio yeye tu, tulifanya vitu mingi na watu mbali mbali sana.”
Diamond added that Diddy had followed him on social media even before he travelled to the US, indicating a mutual respect for Tanzanian music.
“Kwanza unajua Diddy alinifollow kabla ata sijaenda Marekani, so ina maana ni mtu ambaye anatambua mziki wangu, anatambua shuguli zangu na kwa namna moja nyingine amependezewa na mziki wa Kitanzania,” he said.
Diamond also said that Swizz Beatz was the one who drove them to Diddy’s house party.
“Ilikua positive kwenye kila kitu ndo maana mbaka tukaenda kwake na tukaenda unajua na Swizz Beats na kutoka kwake LA mbaka kwake ni kuendesha masaa mawili alafu Swizz Beats ndo alikua anaendesha ndo ujue yani mapenzi makubwa, unajua kama mtu anaendesha masaa mawili kufika kwa Diddy.”
