Pop sensation Nadia Mukami has issued a staggering and passionate defence of her baby daddy, Arrow Bwoy, following the release of her controversial new single, ‘Ex Harudiwi’ (An Ex is never returned to).
In an unfiltered address to her millions of followers on April 3, 2026, the mother-of-two sensationally shut down claims that the track was a bitter swipe at her baby daddy.
Ditching the breakup persona seen in her music videos, Nadia took to social media to set the record straight in a raw verbatim statement that has left fans reeling.
“I want to say something regarding my new song, ‘Ex Harudiwi’, so ever since I teased the song and I have been promoting that I am releasing it, I saw bloggers and blog posts; watu wanaandika, ‘Nadia Mukami writes a song that sparks sijui what Arrow Bwoy,’” she began.
Categorically denying any vile intent, she continued: “I want to categorically state that I cannot write a song kumpasha baba ya Watoto wangu. Mtu ambaye mimi alifanya nikaitwa mama Kai, mtu ambaye alinifanya mimi nikaitwa mama Kiyan, mtu alinifanya mimi nikaitwa mama boys, siwezi, haitakuja tokea ata siku moja it will never happen. That is the father of my kids.”

In a shocker moment of praise, she added: “Mumpumzisheni tu baba Kai, mumpee heshima yake he is an amazing father 10 over 10 father, 15 over 10 father. So kwa hio tu, siwezi anza ati mimi nampasha kwa wimbo, it shall never happen, it will not happen, kama mungangoja sijui chai it will never happen.”
Nadia, however, maintains that her artistry is simply a mirror of society.
“So when I write music, mimi ni kioo cha jamii, I write a reflection of what is happening in the society. From Kipepeo to Woza yani to so many songs ambazo mimi nikiandika tu ‘Ex harudiwi’ lazima tu mutajange baba Kai… That’s the man ata tukakua tumeachana na kila mtu ameenda, huyo milele na milele heshima yake ipo ata akuje nani bora tu alinifanya mimi mama,” she explained.
“Ata tukipigana mangumi behind the scenes huyo ndo baba ya Watoto wangu ata watu wanajua. Mimi mtu akisema ‘unajua baba Kai’ ata nikue nimemkasirikia aje nakuambia ‘ehh don’t do that, DON’T DO THAT!’.
“Ata yeye mwenyewe anajua, I will fight you for saying ‘ohh baba Kai’, I will fight you, ata nikue nimemkasiria aje, that is the father of my kids. Heshima Nampa kwa sababu alinifanya mimi nkaitwa mama Kai, mama kian mama boys. Stream my new song na mutue Arrow Bwoy kwa fikra zenu tafadhali.”
Despite the glowing tribute, the status of the couple – who welcomed their second son, Ameer Kiyan Ali, in August 2025 – remains chillingly ambiguous.

Nadia Mukami has officially announced a breakup with Arrow Bwoy twice, though the most recent instance has been met with skepticism from fans who believe it may be a promotional strategy.
Nadia first officially announced that she was single on December 8, 2022.
In a post on her Instagram stories, she clarified that she had run out of lies and that the two had been separated for some time.
She stated she made the public announcement to stop promoters from trying to book them for joint performances.
By early 2023, the couple admitted they were working through a rough patch. They eventually reconciled in 2024 and welcomed their second son, Ameer Kiyan Ali, in August 2025.
On March 30, 2026, Nadia sparked a second wave of breakup reports through a series of viral actions.
She shared a video where she removed and threw away her engagement ring. This coincided with the release of her new song “Ex Harudiwi” (released April 3, 2026).
While the 2022 announcement was a clear confirmation of a split, the 2026 incident is widely viewed by industry observers as a strategic rollout for her music rather than a confirmed permanent separation.
All in all, the message to the bitter legions of online sceptics is crystal clear: whether they are on or off, Arrow Bwoy remains untouchable in Nadia Mukami’s world.
