Nurse Judy blasts online detectives after Njugush and Celestine part ways

Nurse Judy has spoken out strongly after the split between Njugush and Celestine Ndinda, popularly known as Wakavinye, calling out people she described as “online detectives” for their reactions.

On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, she addressed the growing trend of social media users making quick judgments whenever a public relationship ends. She said many people assume they understand private matters based on limited information shared online.

She explained that such behaviour often turns serious personal matters into public entertainment. According to her, people rush to take sides without knowing the full story behind a breakup. She said this pattern has become common whenever couples announce separation.

“Yani kama kuna Kitu I absolutely hate.. Every time an online couple breaks up, here come the wajuaji in the comments on blogs, ama on their pages, picking sides like it’s a sport,” she said.

Nurse Judy added that many of these reactions are based on guesswork rather than facts. She said individuals claim to have noticed warning signs even when they had no real insight into the relationship. She explained that such claims are misleading and unfair to those involved.

“Talking about ‘I saw the red flags’ in either the man or,” she said.

She went further to criticise the confidence with which people make accusations about others’ personal lives. She said it is wrong for anyone to label one person as the problem without evidence. She explained that relationships are complex and not everything is visible to the public.

“Please, for once, just shut the f up, jezuz!!. You know nothing about people’s real lives beyond what they choose to show,” she said.

She insisted that social media users should respect boundaries and avoid spreading assumptions. She said such comments can cause harm and increase pressure on people already dealing with difficult situations.

“It’s actually crazy how confidently you all make these wild assumptions about who the ‘bad one’ is,” she said.

This comes from a joint statement released by Njugush, where he confirmed that the separation did not happen recently. He explained that the decision was made earlier and that they had already been living apart while raising their children together. He said the choice was made after careful thought.

“Last year, we made the decision to part ways after much thought and with mutual respect,” the statement read.

He added that their children remain their main focus despite the change. He said both parents continue to support each other as they adjust to the new situation.
