Aisha Saringe, the model who features in Bien-Aimé Baraza’s I’ll Be Okay music video, has revealed that politicians are among the men who have been sliding into her direct messages following her growing online popularity.
Speaking during an interview at a local radio station on Friday, October 23, 2026, Saringe said some politicians had surprised her with the messages they sent, adding that she had not expected them to approach her in such a manner.
The model, popularly known as Miss Saringe, spoke about receiving messages from politicians, including Members of Parliament and governors, with some allegedly making promises involving money, jobs and political opportunities. “I didn’t know some of the politicians are jokers like that,” she said, laughing as she recounted some of the approaches.
Saringe said she had previously assumed politicians focused their attention on voters during campaigns, but her experience in the inbox had given her a different impression.
“Nilikuwa nadhani wanatudanganyanga tu kwa ground. Kumbe hadi DMs,” she said, suggesting that some of the political promises she hears during campaigns also feature in private messages.
Offers of jobs and money
During the interview, Saringe and the presenters discussed the kinds of messages she receives from politicians. Some, she said, had offered her opportunities linked to political offices, including promises of jobs and nominations. Others had reportedly used money and invitations to holidays to try to get her attention.

Saringe appeared amused by some of the approaches and said she had not expected such messages from people holding public office. She did not identify any of the politicians she was referring to, and the claims made during the interview could not be independently verified.
How Bien’s music video changed things for her
Saringe’s comments come weeks after she attracted renewed attention following her appearance as the female lead in Bien’s I’ll Be Okay music video, released on October 9, 2026.
The song explores heartbreak and the difficult process of moving on after a relationship ends, with Saringe playing the woman at the centre of the visual story.
Although she had worked as a video model for several years, the project introduced her to a wider audience and made her one of the talking points surrounding the release.
In an earlier interview, Saringe revealed that she had received more than 100 direct messages from men after appearing in the video. She said some had expressed romantic interest, while others made unusual requests or offered money in an attempt to get her attention.
She admitted that she had initially expected the attention to last only a few days, based on her previous experience working with established musicians. Instead, the response continued beyond what she had anticipated.

Aisha’s career before the viral moment
Saringe is a Kenyan video model, presenter and cosmetologist who began working in music videos in 2020.
She said her first appearance was in Laga, a song by UK-based artiste Millions. She has since worked with several Kenyan musicians, including Bahati, Benzema, Kahush, Scom, Katinali and Breeder.
Her previous projects include Bahati’s DRX in 2021 and Mambo ya Mhesh in 2022. She has also spoken about appearing in a music video involving Nigerian singer Burna Boy and UK rapper Fredo.
Despite these earlier opportunities, Saringe said none had generated the level of attention she has experienced since appearing in Bien’s latest release. The increased visibility has brought new interest in her personal life and career, alongside the messages she says she receives online.
