Radio host Alex Mwakideu has questioned Geoffrey Mosiria’s decision to speak publicly about Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja following his dismissal from City Hall, warning that such actions could affect his chances of getting another job.

On Friday, October 23, 2026, Mwakideu raised concerns about revealing workplace secrets after a disagreement with an employer. He questioned whether other employers would be willing to hire someone who shares private information after leaving a job.

“Ah, kimwanaume, haifai. Haipendezi,” Alex Mwakideu said while responding to a co-host who asked whether it was right for someone to reveal another person’s secrets after a disagreement.

Mwakideu’s remarks came after Mosiria, who recently lost his county government job, went for an interview and spoke about Sakaja. The discussion turned to whether Mosiria’s decision to reveal information about the governor and other people would help him attract voters. Mwakideu questioned the value of such revelations, especially when someone is looking for another job.

The media personality said disagreements at work should not lead to the disclosure of private information. He explained that a person who shares secrets after being dismissed could make potential employers question whether they can be trusted with confidential matters.

Mwakideu questions Mosiria’s approach

During the discussion, Mwakideu and his co-host asked whether Mosiria’s decision to speak about Sakaja and others could help him win voters. He said he was also wondering about the possible consequences of speaking publicly about workplace matters after losing a job.

He questioned whether another employer would be comfortable hiring someone who could reveal private details following a disagreement.

“Najiuliza pia, wakati mumekosana kikazi, na ukavutwa kazi, na sasa huna kazi, na unaanza kuropoka mambo kama haya ohh ana dame ofisini, hivi, unadhani ni nani atakaye kuandika kazi akijua kwamba wewe kama utavutwa, wewe ni mtu wa kufichufichua, unadhani kama unaweza andikwa kazi na mtu mwenfine yeyote?”Alex Mwakideu said.

Mosiria recently vowed to teach Sakaja a lesson after losing his county government job, claiming his commitment to work may have contributed to his exit. In a statement shared on Instagram on Thursday, October 22, 2026, he said he intended to return to City Hall as governor in 2027.

“Nairobians will take away my shame next year!” Mosiria declared.

He also suggested that praise from a superior did not always guarantee job security, claiming his hard work had contributed to his dismissal. Mosiria said he believed Nairobi voters would determine his political future in the next election.
